Face the Children (FTC) is a ministry to street children, founded and managed by the Philippine Frontline Ministries, Inc. (see www.thefrontline.asia)

The purpose of FTC is to reach out to abandoned or dangerously neglected (ADN) street children throughout the nation. Tens of thousands of ADN children each year are subject to continual hunger, malnutrition, drug addiction (particularly glue sniffing), violent physical and sexual exploitation, all leading to severe physical, psychological, and spiritual trauma.

Some of the young girls that we have in our care have been exploited sexually or raped from as early as 3 years old. Thousands of children each year are abducted and deceitfully entrapped into a life of sexual slavery and forced prostitution, often landing them in child brothels, both local and in foreign countries.

FTC considers the first line of defense is getting these children out of harms way... off the streets and into safe care centers. Once a child is brought in, we work with Government agencies and parents (or relatives) to obtain full time custody, especially of those whose home life is deemed dangerous to the child.

We provide care for each child, which includes food, shelter, medical and dental care, and education and spiritual direction through prayer, Bible study, youth and children's church, and daily schooling.

As you can imagine, this level of care is expensive. Your partnership and support is welcome. Please click the "contact us" link if you have any questions, or the "online giving" link if you would like to give or sponsor a child right now. The needs range from small to great, and every gift helps.
